Edit Stamp by WetWithRain Edit Stamp by WetWithRain
Moments after I submit, I will invariably find some mistake that needs fixing (often more than once).

This stamp is probably not the same as it was five minutes ago...

I'll sometimes go back and retouch older photos that I've taken and resubmit the remastered shots.

I do that sometimes, especially when I see one or two errors in my writing.

When you edit the artist's comments does it alert your watchers that you updated it? Or is that only when you edit the picture itself and resubmit it?

Edit artist comment won't notify your watchers. But if you edit and upload a new one, and untick the box, "This edit is minor. Do not notify my watchers" or something along those lines; it will notify your watchers :)

Thanks. I've been wondering. :D :tighthug:
...I just looked at a edit-submision page to see if that option was there. I don't see it... I know it's in the journal entrees though.
Well, If it's there or not, either way, thanks for the help.

The "Edit is minor" box will only appear after you uploaded a new file when Editing Deviation. Nope, it is not in journal entries. It is on deviation page.

You are welcome :)

I've wondered this too.
I'm fairly sure that watchers are not updated when you edit submissions (comments or images). And I can't find any option to notify watchers of edits.

Well, I know on the journal they have the option to choose, but I've gotten several updates on the content of the entry itself from other people I'm watching. Though I'm still not sure about the artist's comments...

Whenever I draw something, I always look at it for about a minute to see if I made any mistakes. Then, I submit it, only to find out immediately that I did make a mistake. This happens anywhere from 1-5 times per picture. :ohnoes:

Haha, same here. For some reason, I can't spot things right away. xP

Well, I think the reason I can't is because I'm so eager to post it up.
